Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings

Drive thru order. Later saw they forgot to add bread for my meal. The food was delicious.

We went to Zaxby's tonight to eat but it was closed. That happens more often than not. I'm not sure what's going on there; it makes me wonder if they are going out of business. I hope not because we like their Zalad's.

I'll give it another star because the coupons came in the mail. I got a boneless wings meal. For a chicken place they have a small selection of sauces. Way too over sauced. Blah flavor. I gave my other coupon away because even for free it's not worth a ten minute drive.

Food, service there wasn't ice in the machine but other than that everything else was pretty good

Stopped by here over the weekend on a whim and it was pretty dang good!

We tried the chicken and things combo and the honey butter chicken sandwich and everything was really good! The only thing I would do deferently (on my part) would be to order a different sauce on my wings. I got the "whimpy" buffalo sauce and it was just what it's called, whimpy, duh me! Luckily they have other great sauces to choose from.

The fried mushrooms were good and the vegetable dip that comes with it is so good as well as Zaxby's sauce! Yum!

This location doesn't seem to be doing too well. I pull up tonight, on a Sunday evening BEFORE 7pm, first to find that the dining room is closed and they're only open for drive thru. Ok. Weird, but ok. So I pull up into the drive through to order some dinner, There's a line of cars in front of me and when I finally inch my way up to the ordering stall, a woman curtly announces to me over the speaker, "uhh, sorry we are closed". It's exactly 6:53pm.
Soooo, even if they were closing at the early hour of 7pm which would be unheard of, they're turning people away even before that? I can't imagine the owner or GM would be ok with this. Won't be going back.

It's pretty rare that I get my write on for a chain. Most of us know what to expect from chain shops, so unless there's something atrocious or something outstanding, I leave them be.

On my first visit (ever) to a Zaxby's, it was this Zaxby's. And it was an outstanding experience that I'm writing to you all about!

First visits usually go one of a couple ways: incredible, mind gets blown, and realization of all the life you wasted not know about it before; or, disastrous, thoughts of getting back at the "friend" who recommended the place, and despair for the 20 minutes you'll never get back in your life.

A young lady by the name of Emma made sure that my family's first visit to a Zaxby's was incredible!

We walked in, clueless as to what to get, and loaded with questions about the menu. Emma confidently answered every last question, with patience no less, and made a couple fantastic recommendations. Thank the Lord there wasn't a line, because we took a good five minutes to get everything figured out (four-and-a-half too long....our bad).

Food arrived, and was all pretty good! Slightly above average for fast food fare, and all the recommendations from Emma were dead-on! She checked in with us a couple times, and even brought a couple complimentary cookies to our table since it was our first visit!

When all else is "fine" at a joint, but the service is so A-plus that you feel moved to Yelp it, you've got a loyal customer for quite some time! Nice work, Emma, and nice work, Zaxby's for a solid meal and an excellent hire!

NO INSIDE DINING & LONG DRIVE THRU WAIT TIMES

Nothing but bad experiences at this location. The dining room is still closed, drive thru took 13 minutes today. Unacceptable. Go somewhere else or another zaxbys location. (Gal in drive thru said, "sorry, we don't have many workers today." Would have liked to be inside the restaurant waiting instead of in my car.

The first spicy chicken sandwich was pretty good - 4.5 stars. BUT the second try was a disaster (see pic). Waited 9 minutes in the drive through - seemed like more. Then my sandwich bun was more than toasted - it was black burned and tasted like it. Threw most of the bun away after bite #2. So dissapointed especially after the first one. I still can't believe that was served to a customer - inexcusable!

If you want to wait 20 minutes in the drive thru for them to make your sub par food this is your place !
