Johnson County residents are invited to meet the candidates on their Nov. 4th ballot at a nonpartisan Candidate Meet & Greet on Wednesday, Oct. 8, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 p.m. at the Indian Creek Library in Olathe.

All candidates for the following races have been invited to participate:

Johnson County Community College Board of Trustees
Olathe Council, Ward 3, 4, & At-Large
Olathe USD 233 District 2 Position 5 BOE

District 3 Position 3 & 6 BOE

This voter engagement event is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Johnson County, Mainstream Civic Engagement, Latino Leadership Network, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Upsilon Rho Omega Chapter.

Candidates will be in attendance for 60 minutes and available to answer voter questions in informal conversations. Each candidate will be provided a table to display their campaign items and information and have some privacy to talk to attendees. This is not a forum. Candidates will not be asked to answer questions to the group as a whole.

Door prize will be given away and refreshments will be served.
