The guy who did it was professional however he took a board off the floorboard to put the vacuum down then never put it back and I can't find it once he left. After about 3 weeks of calling and getting the run around they finally told me it wasn't their problem to fix it. The job they got hired to do was done correctly however they never left the place how they found it very frustrating

First and foremost, you have a lot of choices when it comes to repairing or reconstructing your house after fire and water damage. Under no circumstances would I recommend you use ServPro in any capacity. We had a fire with extensive damage requiring a full pack out of all our belongings and nine months work of construction to our house. We went with ServPro mainly due to the positive reviews, which is why I'm writing this review today. If I can stop even one family from going through what we did with ServePro then it's worth it. After nine months we are back in our house even though the upstairs is still not finished and the quality of the work throughout the house is incredibly poor. At this point they have stopped work and we do not know when/if our house will ever be restored back to what it was before the fire.
On the pack out: Our belongings were delivered back to us damaged. All of the power cords and hardware parts were not delivered at all. Several other items are still missing.
On the construction: The absolute ineptitude is too extensive to list. Instead, I will share a few pictures of what was considered "done" by the ServPro crew. Keeping in mind that we had raised concerns about the quality of the work the entire time they were here working on our house. We were told repeatedly that it's part of the process and the finished product would more than meet our expectations. Unfortunately, we had to be here day after day to make sure things were getting done due to multiple things being missed.
On top of all of that ServPro also caused damage to our house and property. When ServPro removed our fridge as part of the pack out they left the water line uncapped and damaged the wood floor to the point that the new fridge (old fridge was brought back but no longer worked) is off balance and does not fit properly.
The ServPro crew that was initially working on the house had vehicles with oil leaks. Though we pointed this out continuously nothing was ever done about it. The result is permanent oil stains in our driveway and street.
We did finally get through to ServPro that the quality was so terrible that we could not move in and they did take action. The entirety of the upstairs had to be redone. They are in the process of doing that work but have now stopped due to not wanting to wait on the money coming from the mortgage company. All of which is beyond our control, but we are the ones left with an unfinished home.
If there are further updates, I will post them here. I would strongly encourage you to take your business elsewhere. The loss that comes with having a house fire is difficult enough without dealing with the stress, heartache, and pure incompetence of ServPro.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sig H.Helotes, TX02Sep 25, 2023
Recently, I came home to a house that had sprung a leak in the basement. It truly was a mess. My insurance agent recommended Servpro of Olathe/Lenexa and I couldn't be happier with the service that they provided to me. They did an excellent job of cleaning up the water damage. In fact, they made the basement look better than it was before the leak! Adonay, Allen, Erick and Marcos were professional and hardworking. And Nick was always there to answer my calls/texts. I would not hesitate to refer them to any of my friends should they ever need help in cleaning up an unexpected mess.

Last week Matthew called and told me things he would do. So far nothing has been done to my knowledge.

Jul 21, 2022Previous reviewWe had a water line break, and it flooded our Master bathroom along with part of the first floor and the basement.
ServPro was suggested by our insurance, so we called them.
They were there the next day, and everything seemed to be going well.
They started packing up our things and were just throwing them into cardboard boxes instead of wrapping the Art Glass and other personal items. They took pictures off the wall and placed them on the wet floor.
My wife and I ended up removing the personal articles from the flood areas ourselves but the Bill from ServPro charged us for that service.
They drilled holes into our Bathroom floor from underneath in an attempt to dry out the floor under the ceramic tile. after 3 days they decided that they had to remove the tile. I had suggested that the day after it did not work. So they billed us for 2-3 more days than it would have costed if they had just removed the tile in the first place.
So they gutted our Bathroom, Rec room and my office removing ceilings and dry wall. They billed us for demolition and the removal of the wet pieces.
But they left all the Drywall screws and Nails in the studs along with the tackless in the floors.
The last day one of their people yanked a drain hose out of the Shower Drain which caused the Drain cover to come out and bang against the shower glass along with flying out into the middle of the bathroom floor.
I asked the supervisor to not allow the person who did this back into our house and still the individual tried to come back in even after I confronted him and told him to leave.
Then I find some kind of chemical was spilt out onto the lawn next to our driveway.
I advise everyone out there to think twice before you use ServPro for any service. - Rj T.San Francisco, CA03May 19, 2023
The SErvPro technicians of Olathe were on time an on point. They were efficient and quickly solved my issues. I highly recommend them.

Unfortunately, when you need SERVPRO it's because you've got a mess on your hands, but if you've got to use a company, it should be them. We have had two home water incidents from an upstairs bathroom flooding and they have been amazing to work with each time. Our point person, Thor has been very helpful and accommodating and the demo/dry out team (Angel & Adonay) came in this morning and efficiently set up everything that was needed, carefully moved our possessions, and helped in any way they could. It can be very overwhelming and intrusive to have possessions moved, holes put in ceilings and floors, and large equipment set up all over your home, but SERVPRO is considerate and compassionate about the process. I would not consider using anyone else.

Thor, Angel and the rest of SerVpro have done a great job of helping get our water leak fixed.
They called back right away, called before they got here so we could be ready and always explained what they were doing to make sure we understand.
They're polite, but joke around just enough to make light of a pretty stressful situation.
I hope we never have a leak again but would not hesitate to bring them back for more work.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jeremy S.Dallas, TX03Aug 30, 2021
