Don't hire your family if they aren't competent. I took a couple years off from going to this location and decided to give it another try. I now remember why I stopped going in the first place. The doctor's mother runs the office along with a sister and maybe brother? Her mom doesn't know how to talk to customers or go out of her way to help them. I'm tired of dealing with her every time I go. It's the number one reason I won't be back.
The number two reason is because 20 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start, there were 4 people waiting in front of me to see her. And she was still seeing a 5th patient while we were all just waiting.
Staff is unwelcoming and the wait was enough for me to walk out and make an appointment elsewhere.
I will say, the doctor herself is friendly. And If she had better staff and time management, she'd be a great one to go back to every year.

This review is for the receptionist. Just called to see if they take my insurance. The receptionist that answered the phone wasn't very helpful when I was asking questions as to whether they accepted my insurance or not. I asked if there was a way for them to check to see if she can find out. (I have my insurance card in hand) Her reply, "Well, you're gonna have to call your insurance to see." No help from her at all.

As for the doctor, employees like this will likely not get you any new patients. Hire more helpful employees.

I have gone here about 3-4 times and I can't say I'm impressed. I will make this review short as it would take numerous paragraphs explaining each visit. Here's a quick summary of what I've experienced each visit.

1: the eye doctor Diane is incredible! Super nice, easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable.
2: sadly, Diane's mom (Joanne) who is the office manager is very rude and disrespectful. She just makes you feel like walking out the door :(
3: If you don't order contacts through them, they make a huge deal on how you can't get a 2 week supply until you get new contacts from somewhere else.

Overall: I highly recommend the eye doctor but the staff (especially Joanne) makes you feel very unwelcome.

I've been seeing Dr. Galbrecht for a couple years now, I started coming to her because with my busy schedule, I can usually get in right away. She's always friendly and professional, all the staff are in fact. I am usually a mess and never have anything strait and Joanne, will go the lengths to find my insurance for me. (thank you, I need all the help I can get in life!) Anyways, I recently took my 7 year old to see her as well and her and the Tech were excellent with him! This office is so personable as well, they'll spend the time they need with you and help you get the best deals possible on glasses or contacts! I'd recommend Dr. Galbrecht to everyone!

Super friendly staff, confident caring and knowledgeable doctor...AND A convenient location. What more could you ask for?!

Great service and friendly staff. My kids and I both get our eyes checked here. Very reasonable price.
