Event Description: Inaugural 5k run-walk to support JCCC student scholarships. Dr. Joe Sopcich, new JCCC president, will participate as a runner and donor, pledging to give $1 to the scholarship fund for each participant who finishes ahead of him in the event. Registration: $22 by Oct. 11 (small convenience fee charged for on-line orders) and $30 for race-day registration; special discounts for team. Visit www.jccc.edu/laceup5k for more details.

Directions:
Johnson County Community College, 12345 College Blvd. Event at the GYM (Fieldhouse) on west side of campus. Route will be around campus.
