Event Description: Join the Deaf Cultural Center and Author Shanna Groves for the Worldwide Book Launch of Confessions of a Lip Reading Mom (CrossRiver Media, 2013). In this book, Shanna invites you on her roller coaster ride of having a progressive hearing loss while raising three young children. Shanna will read from her book and autograph copies. Books will be available for purchase cash or check. While there, tour the Deaf Cultural Museum's worldclass exhibits about deaf and hearing loss culture. A portion of book sale proceeds will be given to the DCC. Refreshments will be provided.

Directions:
Deaf Cultural Center 455 E Park St Olathe, KS 66061 Across from Kansas School for the Deaf. From I-35 take Exit 218 and head west on Santa Fe. Turn left at the first light and then turn right on Park St.
