Event Description: Name of Event: Deaf Cultural Center Patio Party Date of Event: Thursday, March 21 Location (art room, patio, lobby, etc.): Deaf Cultural Center, 455 E. Park Street, Olathe KS. Start/End Time: 4pm-6pm Cost: $10/guest, $5/member. Memberships available and applicable that day. Brief description of the event: Uel Hurd and the Boy Scout program at the Kansas School for the Deaf. Guest presenter: Jack Cooper. Jack will be sharing some new artifacts recently sent to the DCC by Uel's son, Andy Hurd. Light appetizers and beverages will be served. This is a great opportunity to learn about Deaf culture and the connections it has in the Olathe community!
