| The Johnson County Museum offers three sites for residents and visitors to Johnson County to visit: The History Museum and the 1950s All-Electric House in Shawnee and the Lanesfield Historic Site in Edgerton, Kansas. The Museum department offers long-term and changing exhibits, children's history exhibitions, a speakers bureau, online resources, school, youth and Scout programming, lectures and walking tours, and special events. The historic collections include more than one million photographs, 18,000 3-D artifacts, and 300 cubic feet of archival material.
